Meet the Artist
Connie Baker is a self-taught artist who has enjoyed drawing and painting since childhood. She lives in Harford County, Maryland but her heart resides at the beach year-round. Her seascapes are inspired by the beauty of summer vacations in North Carolina's Outer Banks. Her choice of medium includes acrylic, watercolor, gouache, and pastels. She is a member of the Harford Artists' Association and many of her works can be viewed and bought at the Harford Artists' Gallery in Bel Air, Maryland.
"My goal as an artist is to capture the ocean, the sky, the sand, and the surf in such a way that when you view my paintings you can smell the salt air and feel the spray of sea water carried off the waves by the ocean breeze."
